Atherton Cricket Club Upgrades Practice Facilities to ECB Standards

Seeking an upgrade to their existing facilities, Atherton Cricket Club recently enlisted Verde Cricket and Cover Solutions to modernise their practice bays in line with ECB standards.

This project involved the refurbishment of a double-bay practice facility, including new surrounds, nets, and anti-vermin skirts. Our expert installation team at Cover Solutions completed the renovation in just over a week, overcoming various weather challenges along the way. Their dedication ensured the facilities are now fully prepared for action.

For the surrounds, we used Verde Prime Green, a highly durable and resilient artificial grass ideal for high-traffic areas. This same material is a popular choice for adventure golf courses and play areas due to its long-lasting properties. The installation was secured with Verde Grass Stick Green Cartridge, ensuring a firm bond to the solid surface, with optional galvanized nails added for extra reinforcement.

Atherton Cricket Club’s grounds have been upgraded with Verde’s Test Match design, an ECB-approved system that maintains good playing conditions throughout the season. By bringing the club up to ECB standards, Atherton Cricket Club can now enjoy years of uninterrupted play before requiring further renovations.
