Bromsgrove Cricket Club

Bromsgrove Cricket Club recently commissioned us to renovate their existing facilities that we had installed a number of years ago. The facilities are an integral part of the club so they get used regularly. This use meant that the existing carpets had started to wear, and action was needed.

The project is a great example of our desire to incorporate design features that allow clubs to incorporate sustainability and financial planning into their facilities. By using batting and bowling ends, rather than continuous strips, it allows for a process of rejuvenation rather than wholesale changes. This feature means the facilities are somewhat future proofed from expensive renovations.

Additionally, by using Super Verde Wilton rather than a tufted product we are able to offer great longevity and sustainability. 

The project was a simple one with us cutting down existing batting ends to become bowling ends as these do not wear at the same rate. Then installing batting end surfacing. Whilst completing this we also completed base renovations to make sure the faculty performs to the standards we expect. Additionally, we installed some new run up material that had become tired and worn out.

All in all it was a fantastic job that highlights our drive to be sustainable whilst still providing elite level facilities to our clients.
