Kineton Cricket Club, one of Warwickshire’s oldest cricket clubs founded in 1877, has taken a major step forward with the installation of a new two-bay practice facility. The upgrade follows the opening of a new pavilion in 2023, ensuring the club’s playing and practice facilities meet the highest standards.

The new facility features an ECB-Approved Premier System supplied by Verde Cricket and installed by our amazing Accredited Installers at Cover Solutions. This advanced system includes a Premier Pad – a component (exclusive to Verde) that sits between the AP10 shock pad and a specialised hard porous aggregate. The fibre-bonded carpet is attached to a 3.5mm foam backing, ensuring consistent bounce and improved ball reception for spin and seam – ideal for players of all ages and skill levels.

The new facility is designed to provide a high-quality, consistent playing surface for Kineton’s men’s, women’s, and youth teams. The addition of an RBG Tex layer isolates the aggregate, preventing contamination and maintaining the surface’s performance over time.
