Battersea Park gets new cricket facilities

Battersea Park is a large park adjacent to the River Thames and the legendary Power Station. Many activities take place including Football and Cricket. The existing Cricket practice facility, consisting of three concrete slabs with carpeting and a frame, did not meet current expected standards so Wandsworth Council sought funding from ECB to replace the practice facility with a new modern facility and install a match pitch on one of the cricket squares. Verde Sport Cricket were engaged to install Test Match systems and works commenced mid February despite the wet weather. Four weeks later and the net facility has been transformed!
