New Cricket Practice Facility in Verde’s home village

Verde Sports (Cricket) this spring installed a new single bay practice facility at Brinscall Cricket Club. The family run company, Verde Sports, started out in 1988 at Cowling Mill in Chorley. In November 2006 the company made a move to the families home village. The staff love to turn up to work each day in such a beautiful setting. The local cricket club, Brinscall Cricket Club who are current holders of the Houldsworth Ribblesdale League PP&M Lawrenson Cup, were keen to get a practice facility. With the help of a grant from the Lords Taverner’s they were able to engage Verde Sports (Cricket) to supply an ECB approved system. Brinscall Cricket Club members along with locals have been enjoying these new facilities and will continue throughout the summer.
