Verde Artificial Grass Pathways – A Clean Green Approach for your course!

Verde Sports News | 27/09/2010

Verde Sports set up in business in April 1988 and invoice no. 3 was to Didsbury Golf Club for synthetic grass to re–cover their bridges. Over the next few years various alternative products were supplied for golf course pathways but it was in the Autumn of 1992 that the well known Verdeturf Artificial Grass was well and truly established. Verdeturf became known as a self–install, hardwearing pathway, that was not only natural in appearance and cost effective but allowed the odd stray shot to be played off it. Initial sales were strong in North West England, Ireland and Scotland. However, it didnt take long for interest to spread across the Nation. Verdeturf Artificial Turf was designed with a sand–infill, which held the grass in place. Although this provided a popular pathway, there was still call for a non sand–infill alternative for bridges, steps and areas near the club house. After years of trial and development it was the turn of the century before our Super Verdegrass artificial grass was officially excepted as the non sand–filled alternative. Sales are now equal, if not greater than, that of the original Verdeturf. Both products are manufactured in Britain, with British yarns. They are both hardwearing, slip resistant surfaces, readily available and easy to install. Artificial Grass pathways could be the deciding factor as to whether to keep your course open or not. So why not keep your members happy and invest in some Verde Artificial Grass this season.
