Verde Sports Racing sign Brad Anderson

Verde Racing News | 29/09/2015

Brad Anderson will be jumping on the orange KTM machine for 2016, as he has agreed to join Verde Sports Racing to compete in the ACU Maxxis British Motocross Championship and the Michelin MX Nationals.  Talks have been going on for some time between Brad and the team and last week they finally secured their partnership.

Verde Sports are really looking forward to running Brad next season and can’t wait to start testing the new 2016 450 machine.  Not only is Brad a huge personality in motocross but he is an exceptionally experienced rider with a lot still to give.  Whether Brad is on a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke bike he always gives it his all and is one of the most consistent and well respected riders in the industry.

“It will be great to ride for a ‘Northern Based team’ as this will make testing so much easier”, says Brad. “I have always fancied racing a KTM and this will be the first time since a nipper.  I am looking forward to joining Adrian and the team.  They are a close knit, dedicated team who go out of their way to try to help the sport move forward.”

Team Manager Adrian Kirk is happy to have Brad on board. “We are really looking forward to working with Brad and achieving podiums in the British MX1 Championships.  We have been working towards this deal for the last 2 months, with lots of consideration from both parties.  It will be an honour to work alongside a rider such as Brad.”

Jake Millward will be staying with Verde Sports Racing for his second season and will compete in the MX2 class in both the ACU Maxxis British Championship and the MX Nationals.  Jake has come on a long way this year, moving from 27th in the Maxxis last year to an anticipated top 10 Championship finish this year.  Jake has just finished 2nd overall in the MX Nationals MX2 class and hopes to claim the crown in this series next season.

We feel that these two riders will work well together and provide an excellent presence for Verde Sports Racing in both the MX1 and MX2 classes.
